Launched in January 2017 by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), the 60x30TX strategic plan aims to increase educational attainment across Texas. This initiative aims to ensure that 60% of all Texans ages 25-34 will hold a post-secondary degree or certificate by 2030. You can learn more about the plan here.
In an effort to understand El Paso’s progress towards this goal, CREEED commissioned a study by the National Center for Higher Education Management Systems (NCHEMS) to identify gaps in reaching the statewide 60% attainment goal and corrective measures needed to be on the right track.
