CREEED is excited to announce two scholarships designed to help you achieve your educational goals and secure a bright future in your chosen career. Whether you’re planning to attend a four-year college to pursue a career or aiming to become a teacher, these scholarships are here to support you. By helping cover a portion of tuition and other college-related expenses, CREEED is committed to reducing the financial barriers that often stand in the way of college dreams.
But you need to hurry. The 2025 applications close on Thursday, March 27. The good news is that you can apply online! You can start your application and return to it as often as you need before you submit it. The links to apply for each scholarship are below.
F.A.S.T Rising College Scholarship: Support for Rural Students
For students from rural El Paso County, CREEED is offering the F.A.S.T. Rising College Scholarship. This scholarship aims to empower students from the Fabens, Anthony, San Elizario, and Tornillo school districts by helping them further their education at a four-year college or university.
The F.A.S.T. Rising College Scholarship provides a one-time award of $2,500 to one senior from each of the four districts. To be eligible, students must:
- Be a student at Fabens, Anthony, San Elizario, or Tornillo ISD,
- Have a GPA of 3.5 or higher,
- Be committed to attending a four-year college or university in the fall.
This scholarship helps reduce the financial barriers that students often face, making it easier for them to enroll in college and continue their academic journey after high school.
Excelencia Scholarship for Future Educators: Support for Future Teachers
Are you passionate about education? CREEED also offers the Excelencia Scholarship for Future Educators for students planning to become teachers. This initiative was launched in 2024 and is dedicated to ensuring El Paso’s future teachers are well-equipped to serve our community.
Each year, up to eight students from El Paso’s public high schools will receive a one-time award of $2,500 to help cover tuition costs as they pursue degrees in education. Eligible students must:
- Have a GPA of 3.5 or higher,
- Be committed to attending a four-year college and pursuing a degree in education in the fall.
By applying for this scholarship, you’ll receive financial support to offset the costs of earning your degree in education. It’s the perfect opportunity for students who dream of making a difference in the classroom and shaping the future.
